Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers; confirm a POS58 printer icon appears. 5. Right‑click the POS58 printer icon and choose Properties. 6. Open the Services tab and note the port name shown at Serial Port (SPP) (COMx). 7. If no COM port is shown, install the MT580P USB to Serial driver (MT580P USB turn to serial DriverInstaller_v1.10.0.exe). 8. Connect the printer to the PC with a USB cable until Windows shows 'Device setup complete' and the printer reappears in Devices and Printers. 9. In Printer Properties open the Ports tab and select the COM port noted earlier. 10. Click OK and run a test print from the printer properties dialog.
